Sunlit Meadow

Furaha and Orko's favourite place of all is a little meadow near the beach, where they can be free to be at one with nature without the boundaries of four walls holding them back. The more freedom they have, the more time they have to sleep during the night.

Furaha and Orko spend most of their time frolicking around in the grass, playing hide and seek and tag and lying on their backs looking up at the big blue sky and observing the clouds there. Near the beach is a large oak tree. Furaha and Orko love resting underneath, chatting about the little things in life that don't rely on hard work or determination, or you can occasionally find them climbing up the tree to the very top, looking out over the sea to 'distant lands'.

On the beach, the sand is white and the water is a clear blue. It's always a sunny day when Furaha and Orko play there. They roll about in the sand, bury each other in the sand, splash in the waves and swim in the safe, clear ocean, knowing the grand oak tree, which Kiburi and Ua have played under since they were little cubs, is watching over them just as it watched over their parents. The tree stands tall and wonderful, like some kind of untouched monument waiting to be touched by man. Yet Furaha doesn't have the power to change into a human. She and Orko are from different species, but inside...they're only human.
